The Pulsar Sci-Fi Screenplay Contest is an international screenplay and teleplay contest dedicated exclusively to Sci-Fi. We accept Sci-Fi feature film screenplays, Sci-Fi original pilot and existing show teleplays.

Contest categories
Scripts will compete in one of two categories:
- Sci-Fi feature film screenplay
- Sci-Fi teleplay: original pilot or existing series
What is feedback/analysis?
This is an
optional service that we provide for contest entrants who would like some
feedback on their work.
Our reader will
produce a feedback/analysis report (approximately 600 words for screenplays, approximately 400 for teleplays) for you. The goal of the report is to give guidance on how your script can be improved: it will include details of both the aspects of your script the reader liked, and those they believe need additional work.
Our readers
We have a small number of hand-picked readers who are passionate about Sci-Fi and screenwriting. They are either industry professionals or experienced script readers and reviewers.
The Prizes
A cash prize of $1000 will be awarded for the best Sci-Fi movie screenplay, $250 for the best teleplay.
Timelines The contest will run every six months:
- Cycle 'A': December 1st to May 31st
- Cycle 'B': June 1st to November 30th
